About me

I have studied Theoretical Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling.

I am fascinated by Physics, Philosophy, and Computer Science.

Since high school I wanted to create my own Programming Language.

Or even more generally, whenever I cannot find something that works for me, I create it.

I'm a generalist. Meaning I don't restrict myself to just a single specialty. I learn everything that piques my interest. I just love learning and creating!

I learn fast, I work fast, and I am very precise.

I love making stuff work. I am a change driver.

I am also good with people and I can take charge if needed.

TDD (Test Driven Development) and DDD (Domain-Driven Design) are my thing!

Reshaping the tools we think with.

Refingere is Latin for "to reshape". The tools we use to think, learn, find out what's true and show who we are were mostly shaped long ago, one at a time, and they don't fit together. Refingere reshapes them as one family of projects that share the same ideas and work with each other: Modeling, Language, Wiki, Science and Id.

Modeling Refingere

Modeling Refingere

Lay out ideas as a map. Your way.

A node-based modeling tool where anything - a task, a note, a person, a piece of a plan - becomes a small box, connected to others with arrows. The tool is built out of the same boxes as Your work, so every way of looking at a map, as a diagram, a board, a document or a table, can be changed, swapped and shared just like Your own content.

Refingere Language

Refingere Language In progress

Statically typed language that stays out of Your way.

Errors are values, the outside world comes through a context You can replace, and the things most programs need are built in. No imports, no hidden exceptions, no hunting for libraries - just code that is straightforward to read and hard to get wrong.

Other things I do

IT Developer Consulting

IT Developer Consulting

Different Teams different Techstacks

For 3 years I worked as an IT Developer Consultant, switching between teams and projects. I built tools to speed up the work and found solutions to plenty of otherwise annoying problems.

I adapt quickly to different teams and requirements.
Toastmasters Club President

Toastmasters Club President

Managing people and the whole club

As club president, I learned how to lead and support people. Since there was no way to pay anyone for their time, motivating them was everything.

I can take initiative when it's needed.
Toastmasters Club Secretary

Toastmasters Club Secretary

Managing the documents and meetings

As club secretary, I learned to handle documentation, write meeting minutes, and keep track of everything happening in the club.

I'm comfortable organizing and managing large volumes of documents.
Public speeches

Speaking for +100 people is not a problem

I've spoken on stage many times — job fairs, club meetings, speech contests, company branch meetings, and client meetings. I was even invited to give a series of talks at a school.

Presenting in front of a crowd is never a problem for me.

Explaining how Crypto works

For a while I worked as a copywriter. Some jobs were simple, but eventually I landed one writing easy-to-understand explanations of cryptocurrencies, along with ghostwriting and producing YouTube videos.

Explaining complex topics clearly, and writing copy that sells, is one of my strengths.

Crypto Smart Contracts

Crypto Smart Contracts

Cryptocurrency and holding contracts

I was asked to build a cryptocurrency with custom smart contracts. It demanded scrutiny over every implementation detail, since smart contracts can't be changed after deployment.

I put heavy emphasis on verifying that everything works exactly as it should.
Office management

Office management

From managing papers to managing people

At one point I even managed an office for a company — everything from IT support (printers and the like) to document management and investor relations.

I adapt to whatever role is needed.
Marbles & Blocks

Marbles & Blocks

Sokoban style game

Since just making a game without knowing how (...) was too easy, I figured I'd add a time limit. Most people give themselves a week, 48 hours, or, if they're crazy, 24 hours.
So why not 8?
And that's how this project got started!

I can work fast, even in a completely unfamiliar environment.

Board games

Board games

Handwork is awesome!

I've created a few playable physical board games. I never released them publicly — that was never the point.

The medium or type of challenge doesn't matter to me; I just want to solve problems and create!

And believe me when I say: there's a lot more!
At one point I counted over 100 open projects and about 50 repos on GitHub...
Since then I've deleted most of them, as they'd already served their purpose.
Now I'm focusing on a smaller number of things that matter most.
